Elevating 92 women in one rural sector of Haiti

For 19 years, AEDAP has impacted the lives of 1,000 children and families, partnering with a wide array of community-based organizations to deliver programming for youth, parents and seniors , primarily in Miami-Dade County. We also support women in the rural sector of Haiti.

AEDAP also provides technical support to newly established community organizations. AEDAP brings community leaders together through leadership retreats and a community calendar empowering them to share their vision and uplift one another while streamlining services and programs for the community.

Our Work

AEDAP Professional Young Leaders

Design for boys and girls age 6-18 offer the children an early exposure on leadership. From 5 to 10 years old AEDAP youth focus on their identify. From 10 to 15 years old, they discuss volunteering and their research on their best connection to start serving. From 15 to 18 years, AEDAP young leaders know to be responsible and a role model to the younger members on the team.

AEDAP Parents Voices

Welcoming parents regardless of their socio-economic, religious, gender background to be present in AEDAP Children Activities. AEDAP Parents Voices – a safe platform allowing parents to exchange and create bonds.

AEDAP Seniors Health and Wellness

Strong for 19 years, this program is Unique as it brings a curriculum designed for over 5 Assisted Living Facilities in Miami-Dade County and abroad, this yearlong program empower seniors by improving their lives and self-esteem through: Health and Wellness programs, initiative that support their independence, community engagement, self-care and definitely medical compliance.

AEDAP’s Impact is also measured by the outcomes of the following consistent and sustainable projects.

ART

AEDAP South Dade Haitian Heritage Celebration and Health Day – 2025 going to year 6.
This program helps putting South Dade on the map. It is an annual 2 day-event that takes place in May that brings the richness of Haitian art, music and communities while promoting health.

A Day with a Chef

We bring our culture and education to our partnered school.

AEDAP Adopt A FAMILY

Help Families who are unhoused or at-risk by providing them with two nights of mental calm.

AEDAP Toys Drive / Special Holidays Gifts for Seniors

Christmas is a time for AEDAP children and seniors. Toys drive is designated to special groups to include the children that attend AEDAP programs yearlong, children of the partnered churches and special gifts for the single parents we served and seniors. Christmas for AEDAP is a shared moments for many of our organization’s participants.

AEDAP Women Rural Project

This project suffers a lot due to Haitian security lasting crisis and political unrest.
Yet Women are resilient and the sponsors of this project continues to uplift these women empowering them to remain resilient.
